How personal information is collected and used when you contact EnquiryLift or purchase an audit.

Who Is Responsible For Your Information
EnquiryLift is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact EnquiryLift at hello@enquirylift.co.uk.
Information We May Collect
- Your name, business name, website address and business email address.
- The service or website improvement you are interested in.
- Information you include in an enquiry, onboarding form, call or email.
- Project files and information needed to prepare and deliver an audit.
- Payment and transaction records. Card details should be handled by the selected payment provider rather than stored by EnquiryLift.
- Standard technical records that may be created by the website hosting provider, such as an IP address, browser type, security event or request time.
How Information Is Collected
Information may be collected when you email EnquiryLift, use the website enquiry form, complete onboarding questions, book a call, purchase a service or correspond during delivery.
The current website enquiry form prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not send the form information to EnquiryLift until you choose to send that email.
Why We Use Personal Information

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically add you to a marketing mailing list. If EnquiryLift introduces marketing emails, a separate choice and appropriate unsubscribe route will be provided.
Who Information May Be Shared With
Information may be shared only where necessary with selected providers that support website hosting, email, forms, scheduling, payment processing, file storage or professional advice. It may also be disclosed where required by law. EnquiryLift does not sell personal information.
International Processing
Some selected technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this applies, EnquiryLift will use providers that offer an appropriate legal safeguard for the transfer and will update this notice when the final service providers are selected.
How Long Information Is Kept
- Enquiries that do not become client work may be kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Client agreements, invoices and essential delivery records may be kept for up to six years after the work is completed where needed for contractual, tax or legal purposes.
- Working files that are no longer required will be deleted or anonymised sooner where practical.
Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain uses of your personal information. You can make a request by emailing hello@enquirylift.co.uk.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled.
Automated Decisions
EnquiryLift does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated processing. AI may support internal drafting or organisation, but recommendations and client communications remain subject to human review.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures will be used to protect personal information. No internet or email service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information by email.
Changes To This Notice
This notice will be reviewed when the website, hosting, forms, scheduling, payment or analytics services change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
